ANIMA Edit Shoes S.r.l., with registered office in Via Andrea Massena 18, 20145 Milan, Italy (hereinafter "ANIMA") is the data controller of the personal data of users who browse the Website, including browsing data, marketing and profiling data, as well as data related to sales made through the Website and related pre- and post-sales activities.

PROCESSING

Different types of personal data are collected and processed through the Website, for different purposes and using different methods. More precisely:

1. personal data relating to navigation, processed both to allow the correct functioning of the Website and for marketing purposes. In this regard, we invite you to read the Cookie Policy;
2. personal data voluntarily provided by the user (email address, telephone number, personal data, password provided by filling in the registration form), or otherwise provided during the Website's interaction and/or through interaction with the customer care provided by ANIMA and processed to respond to user requests and offer the services, assistance, and information requested about ANIMA products and world. Please note that registration and access to the Website or to your customer account via a social profile involve the communication of certain data (First name, Last name, Email, and any other data relating to the user and present on the social network itself, which will in any case be listed to the user before they confirm their wish to proceed with authentication via social media). This communication will in any case only occur after the user explicitly confirms their wish to proceed before logging in. 3. personal data provided by the user within the product purchase processes on the Website for the conclusion of transactions and for activities functional and instrumental to sales, as well as for any necessary pre and post-sales assistance;
4. personal, demographic and contact data, processed by ANIMA – subject to explicit consent – for marketing purposes, i.e., to send the user (through traditional tools and through electronic tools such as newsletters, emails, SMS, MMS and smart messages) information and updates on products, sales, promotional campaigns, events and other initiatives promoted by ANIMA or its commercial partners;
5. personal data relating to purchases and any expressed preferences, processed by ANIMA – subject to explicit consent – for the purpose of studying habits and consumption choices, in order to make products, initiatives and individual commercial proposals more responsive to the tastes and needs of its customers;
6. personal data (email address) provided at the time of purchase of products, to offer you products similar to those you have purchased (so-called "soft spam"), without prejudice to the possibility of communicating the desire not to receive such communications using the contact details referred to in paragraph 1 of this Privacy Policy or by using the link present in every email communication you receive. In this case, ANIMA will cease the activity without delay.

With the exception of navigation data, governed by the Cookie Policy, the processing of personal data is based on:

1. ANIMA's legitimate interest in providing the Website's services and responding to any customer requests, with reference to points (a) and (b) and to carry out soft spam activities with reference to point (f);
2. the fulfillment of the sales contract and the obligation to fulfill pre and post-contractual obligations, for all activities referred to in point (c);
3. any consent provided by the user for the purposes referred to in point (b) - with exclusive reference to social login - and points (d) and (e).

Personal data collected by ANIMA are provided directly by the user (through registration on the Website or during the sales process), with the exception of browsing data referred to in the previous point 2 (a), data collected during registration and access via social media profile, as indicated in the previous point 2 (b) and sales data referred to in the previous point 2 (e).

As indicated in point 2 (e) above, and with the express consent of the user, ANIMA may process the user's personal data for the purpose of studying habits and consumption choices in order to make ANIMA products and initiatives more responsive to the tastes and needs of its customers.

With the aid of automated tools, ANIMA will process data relating to the value and frequency of purchases, as well as the type of products purchased. Data concerning consumption and preferences may be collected not only by tracking purchases made on the Site, but also through the user's interaction with ANIMA and any information that the user voluntarily provides such as their consumption preferences (brands and products), hobbies, habits, lifestyle, and favorite sports. This information may also be acquired through:

1. some social platforms. In any case, this will only happen if the user has previously agreed to communicate some of their data through the social platform at the time of login for registration;
2. the use of cookies on the ANIMA website, only if the user has expressly consented to the use of analytical and profiling cookies.

The sole objective of this study is to offer customers and users products, services, and initiatives that are more responsive to their tastes and needs. It should be noted in this regard that the study of user and customer behavior will take place in a non-invasive manner with respect to personal privacy. As indicated in point 2 (a) above, and with the express consent of the user, ANIMA may also process the user's personal data, using automated tools, to study cookies in order to verify navigation on the Site and propose products and services in line with browsing activity.

The personal data collected through the ANIMA Website are processed primarily using IT and telecommunication methods and tools, adopting the necessary security measures in order to minimize the risks of destruction or loss, even accidental, of the data itself, of unauthorized access or of processing that is not permitted or not compliant with the collection purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy.

However, due to the nature of online transmission, these measures cannot absolutely limit or exclude any risk of unauthorized access or data dispersion. Failure to provide such data does not limit the use of the Website, but may make it impossible for ANIMA to respond to requests for information and queries, or to send informative material, updates, newsletters and invitations to ANIMA events. The provision of personal data, in particular personal details, email address, postal address, telephone number and bank details (in case of credit card payments) is necessary for the conclusion of the contract for the purchase
of products through the Website. In case of non-provision, therefore, it may be impossible to complete the purchase through the Website.

Personal data collected for sales purposes are stored for a period not exceeding 10 years from the purchase, in accordance with tax and civil law and without prejudice to particular needs of defense in court that may require storage for a longer period. Data provided by the user to request assistance, information and feedback are stored for the time necessary to provide the requested feedback and any subsequent activity of further iteration with the customer necessary to fully manage the request and/or problem.

Personal data provided for marketing, soft spam and profiling purposes are stored for the period necessary for the specific processing and up to a maximum of 7 years, also based on the particular sector of activity (luxury products) and in consideration of the customer's interest in receiving updates on products and events organized by ANIMA.
