CARE GUIDE

Care and Maintenance Guide for ANIMA EDIT SHOES Footwear

Every ANIMA EDIT SHOES sneaker is entirely handcrafted in Italy using premium leathers, materials, and refined finishes carefully selected by our artisans.

The natural characteristics of the materials and the artisanal manufacturing process make each product unique. Proper care and maintenance help preserve the footwear’s appearance, comfort, andquality over time.

1. Daily Care

We recommend wearing ANIMA EDIT SHOES with care, avoiding improper use, prolonged exposure to direct heat sources, impacts,excessive friction, or particularly harsh environmental conditions.

After each use, it is advisable to allow the sneakers to air out in a dry and ventilated environment, avoiding immediate storage in closed or humid spaces.

To help maintain the sneaker’s original shape, the use of shoe trees and storage inside the original ANIMA EDIT SHOES packaging is recommended.

2. Smooth Leather and Calfskin

Smooth
leather and calfskin should be cleaned gently using a soft dry cloth or a slightly damp cloth.

To nourish and preserve the leather over time, we recommend the occasional use of high-quality leather care products, while avoiding aggressive detergents, solvents, alcohol, or unsuitable chemical products.

Natural creases, slight colour variations, and natural leather markings are distinctive characteristics of the material and of the artisanal craftsmanship.

3. Suede and Delicate Materials

Suede and delicate materials require special
care.

We recommend:

• avoiding contact with water, rain, snow, or
humidity;

• using only dedicated soft brushes;

• avoiding excessive rubbing;

• applying, when appropriate, specific protective
products designed for suede.

Exposure to liquids, humidity, or atmospheric agents may cause colour changes, stiffening, stains, or permanent alterations to the material.

4. Contact with Water and External Agents

ANIMA
EDIT SHOES footwear is not designed for technical, sports, orextreme weather use.

Contact
with water, humidity, heavy rain, abrasive surfaces, salt, oils, chemicals, or atmospheric agents may compromise the materials, adhesives, stitching, finishes, and components of the sneaker.

In the event of accidental contact with water:

• gently dab the footwear without rubbing;

• allow it to dry naturally at room temperature;

• do not use direct heat sources such as
radiators, hairdryers, or tumble dryers.

5. Storage

To preserve the quality of the product over time,
we recommend:

• storing the sneakers in a dry place away from
direct light;

• avoiding excessively humid environments;

• avoiding stacking the footwear;

• using the original dust bag when not in use for
extended periods.

Prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat sources may alter colours, leathers, and materials.

6. Handcrafted Nature of the Materials

Natural leathers, premium materials, and artisanal manufacturing processes may present veins, grain variations, micro-irregularities, slight colour differences, and texture variations.

These characteristics are distinctive elements of the authenticity of a handcrafted product and do not constitute defects or lack of conformity.

7. Limitation of Liability and Warranty

The Legal Warranty does not cover:

• normal wear and tear of the product;

• deterioration resulting from the ordinary use
of the sneakers;

• damage caused by water, humidity, or
atmospheric agents;

• alterations resulting from improper
maintenance;

• use inconsistent with the intended purpose of
the product;

• treatments carried out by unauthorised third
parties;

• accidental damage or damage resulting from
improper storage.

The natural wear of leathers, soles, finishes, and soft materials is a
physiological consequence of the product’s use over time.

ANIMA EDIT SHOES recommends periodic maintenance performed by professionals specialised in the care of luxury footwear.
