Not everything can be engraved. And not everything should be.

Some selected leathers and surfaces — due to their structure, sensitivity, or finish — are not suitable for direct hot stamping, unlike others (such as calfskin and nappa leather).
Forcing it would mean compromising their integrity or altering their aesthetic.
Forcing them would mean betraying the material.

Like in a meadow, where flowers are not cut and grass is not needlessly trampled, but observed and crossed with respect, ANIMA chooses to preserve every surface for what it is.

For this reason, when necessary, the Origin Essence – the "ANIMA / ORIGIN" mark on the Surface – takes shape on a small calfskin or nappa insert, engraved separately and then applied.
A discreet element, designed to integrate harmoniously with the
composition.

The color is selected in the atelier: either in continuity with the main surface or by recalling one of the other elements of the shoe. Every choice is guided by the overall visual balance.

It is not a technical adaptation. It is a creative intervention.

The choice of the ANIMA ORIGIN logo color - gold, silver, or black - is not an isolated detail. It becomes the visual reference for the entire sneaker. It becomes the common thread.

It guides the branding on the heel and the engraving on the insole. The same tone and color are consistently applied to the branding on the heel, "ANIMA EDIT SHOES Made In Italy", and the internal inscription, "BE UNIQUE, BE DIFFERENT. Anima Edit Shoes. Personal Creation".
