Shipping Information

This Shipping Policy governs the production, preparation, shipping and delivery of products purchased after creation and customization through the "ANIMA EDIT SHOES" ("ANIMA") e-commerce platform.

For everything not regulated in this policy, please refer to the Terms and Conditions of Sale, which are considered fully incorporated herein.

Expressions and/or terms capitalized have the meaning attributed to them in this policy and/or in the Terms and Conditions of Sale.

1. Artisanal Product Manufacturing

All ANIMA products are handcrafted and made to order according to the customizations selected by the customer at the time of purchase.

Production time for footwear is approximately between 2 (two) and 4 (four) weeks from order confirmation.

The indicated timelines are to be considered as indicative and non-binding estimates, given the artisanal nature of the work, the availability of materials, and the manual activities required for production.

During periods of high production volume, national holidays, or closures of artisan workshops, production times may vary.

2. Shipping Times and Methods

Once production is complete, the product is entrusted to the designated courier for shipping to the address indicated by the Customer during the purchase process.

Deliveries within Italy generally occur within 2-3 (two/three) business days from when the courier takes charge of the shipment.

Shipments are made via express courier selected by the Company.

The indicated delivery times are purely estimated and do not constitute a binding guarantee, as they depend on the carrier's operations, the destination location, and any external circumstances not attributable to the Company.

3. Shipment Tracking

Upon shipment, the Customer will receive an email containing a tracking number to monitor the delivery status.

The Customer is responsible for checking shipping information and monitoring delivery using the systems provided by the carrier.

4. Delivery Delays

The Company shall not be held liable for any delays attributable to the carrier or caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to:

• strikes;
• logistical blockages;
• exceptional weather events;
• health emergencies;
• transport disruptions;
• government measures;
• force majeure events.

In such circumstances, the Company will make every reasonable effort to assist the Customer and monitor the evolution of the shipment.

5. Customer's Obligations

The Customer is required to carefully verify the accuracy of the shipping address provided during the purchase. The Company will not be liable for failed deliveries, delays or additional costs resulting from:

  • incomplete or incorrect addresses;
  • unavailability of the recipient;
  • failure to collect the shipment;
  • inaccurate information provided by the Customer.

Any costs incurred for redelivery or new shipments may be charged to the Customer.

6. Failed Delivery and Storage

In case of failed delivery due to the recipient's absence, in accordance with the procedures of the assigned courier, the package may be held in storage or returned to the Company.

If the product is returned to the Company for reasons attributable to the Customer, the Customer may request a new shipment upon payment of the relevant costs.

It is understood that any original shipping costs will not be refunded.

7. Transfer of Risk

The risk of loss or damage to the product transfers to the Customer when the Customer, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier, physically acquires possession of the goods.

8. Package Inspection upon Delivery

Upon delivery, the Customer is invited to verify:• the integrity of the packaging;

• the absence of visible damage;

• the correspondence of the number of packages received.

Any anomalies must be immediately reported to the courier by making a written reservation on the proof of delivery and promptly communicated to the Company.
